Poli Glow is not a one-time application. It does need to be reapplied every 10-12 months, depending on the latitude in which you live. With routine maintenance coats, Poli Glow can last up to 8 years and then it needs to be completely removed and reapplied.
do i use poli prep again before i do my maintenance coats?

To remove Poli Glow use Poli Strip Liquid Concentrate. Be sure to always wear vinyl or plastic disposable gloves. CAN POLI GLOW BE USED OVER PAINTED SURFACES?
We do not recommend to use any of our products over new or shiny painted surfaces. All of our pre-cleaners are very aggressive and will dull new or shiny paint. If the paint is already faded and dull, we highly recommend to test the Poli Prep on a small section to make sure that it is compatible with the paint. Please be careful while scrubbing on surfaces where the paint is peeling or flaking as the cleaners and scrub pad will remove more of the paint.
WHAT CAN BE USED TO CLEAN HEAVY OXIDATION, STAINS, AND BLACK STREAKS?
Use Poli Prep first to clean the area as best as possible, then use Poli Ox to treat any stubborn spots. Poli Ox is a heavy duty cleanser that will treat and remove oxidation, stubborn stains, and black streaks.
WHAT IF POLI PREP AND POLI OX DID NOT REMOVE ALL OF THE OXIDATION?
Some times oxidation is so heavy, especially on darker colors, that Poli Prep and Poli Ox are not strong enough to remove it. The removal of oxidation is one of the most important steps in fiberglass restoration. We have found that using 3M ultra fine sanding sponge, which is equivalent to 1200 wet and dry sandpaper, works great on those really tough spots. The fiberglass needs to be uniform in color, with no oxidation. If you are still having problems removing the oxidation, please call our office at 772-595-5755.
